The 25 Day Attendance Challenge!
After the overwhelming success of last years “20 Day Attendance Challenge” in which over 300 students achieved the student led award’s day of their choice, I am delighted to announce the start of this year’s challenge!
As part of our continued drive to improve whole school attendance and to further develop our reward systems, I would like to introduce, “The 25 Day Attendance Challenge”!
The challenge will start on Monday 13 January and run for a period of 25 school days through to the final day of the half term on Friday 14 February. The additional 5 days have been added, after feedback from the students, to make the challenge even more difficult.
To successfully complete the challenge, students must meet the following criteria:
- 100% attendance
- Perfect punctuality to both school and lessons
- Exemplary behaviour throughout school
- Fully equipped for every lesson, every day
Students (and their parents/carers) will be informed if they have passed the challenge when we return to school after the half term break on Monday 17 February. Those students that have been successful will then decide upon an appropriate award of their choice. Last year, students chose to have a day off timetable in non-uniform, playing sport, watching movies on the big screen and playing board and card games, whilst feasting on snacks!
I hope to be reporting back with record numbers having passed the challenge! If you have any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to contact me via phone on 01494 529866 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Let the challenge commence.
